GOLF CLUB OBERSTAUFEN-STEIBIS
The course is located at an altitude of 900 metres at the foot of the Nagelfluhkette, nestled in a magnificent landscape. Every hole offers fantastic panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. The golf course is sporty and challenging. The greens are fast, the course is hilly and structured by water hazards with biotopes, springs and old trees.
GOLFPARK BREGENZERWALD
The most beautiful thing about golf is the course - especially the Bregenzerwald Golf Park, where architect Kurt Rossknecht has moulded the special features of the gently undulating Weißachtal valley with its old groups of trees and natural meadows with carefully placed bunkers, ponds and greens into a varied course for all levels of play.
GOLFPARK SCHLOSSGUT-LENZFRIED
Natural golfing in the centre of Kempten: this 9-hole golf course combines proximity to the town centre with breathtaking nature. The driving range has 25 (partly covered) teeing grounds. The coaches offer courses for beginners and individual lessons for advanced golfers. A cosy bistro with beer garden invites you to linger, including 360° views of the Allgäu mountains.
GOLF CLUB WALDEGG-WIGGENSBACH
The GC Waldegg-Wiggensbach with its 27 holes is idyllically embedded in nature and offers a wonderful panorama from the Allgäu to the Chiemgau Alps. Hole 5 of the Panorama course has the highest tee in Germany at 1,011 metres above sea level and is an experience in itself with its very special view.
MEMMMINGEN GOLF CLUB
The flat 18-hole course is conveniently located on the A7/A96 motorways near Memmingen and blends harmoniously into the landscape. Long fairways, bordered by high rough as well as bushes and trees, plus plenty of water and numerous bunkers demand a great deal of skill and a concentrated game.
GOLF CENTRE OBERSTAUFEN
The 18-hole course with its varied topography is harmoniously adapted to the Allgäu landscape and offers both beginners and experienced players a sporting challenge. Slight differences in altitude, slopes and water hazards ensure a varied and entertaining game. Course after course offers marvellous views of a beautiful landscape with views as far as the Hochgrat and Oberstaufen.
GOLF COURSE SCHEIDEGG
The Scheidegg golf course is located between Oberstaufen and Lake Constance in the sunniest town in Germany. The golf course offers a marvellous Alpine panorama - from the Nagelfluh mountain range in the east to the Säntis in the west. On a clear day, you can even see Lake Constance from tee 8. The relatively flat golf course (par 70) offers a varied and enjoyable game on its 9 fairways as well as marvellous natural surroundings. In addition, the 300 metre driving range and generous practice facilities with practice greens and bunkers invite you to perfect your shots off the fairway.

"We were guests at the Birkenhof for the first time. The hotel is one of the Oberstaufen Plus golf hosts and you get the card from there. This is set up in the Allgäu Walser app and on presentation at the golf clubs you can play green fee-free on 5 golf courses. The Oberstaufen-Steibis golf course is 2 km from the hotel. The Bregenzerwald Golf Park is 8 kilometres away in Riefensberg (Austria - just over the border). Both are beautifully situated, well maintained, but challenging. On the way back we played a round at the Golfclub Memmingen on Gut Westerhart - about 1 hour's drive from the hotel - we also found it worthwhile. We really enjoyed it and felt very comfortable .... The beautiful wellness area with swimming pond, sunbathing areas and panoramic sauna should be emphasised. Breakfast was a buffet with a large selection. Everything is based on local products. A multi-course menu is offered in the evening. Basically with a salad buffet, 2 starters and 3 main courses to choose from - which you choose at breakfast and here, too, local products are in harmony. Everything is always deliciously prepared, varied and tasty."
