Recommended route: Take the A7 motorway towards Kempten - exit at the Allgäu junction onto the A980 - B19 towards Immenstadt/Oberstaufen - exit at Oberstaufen. From there follow the signs to Steibis. The Birkenhof is located approx. 4 km outside Oberstaufen in the district of Steibis, Am Anger 30.
Alternative route: Via the A96 motorway towards Lindau - exit Wangen-Nord - towards Oberstaufen. In Oberstaufen follow the signs to Steibis. After approx. 4 km you will reach the Birkenhof.
Recommended route: Via St. Gallen - A1 motorway towards Germany - border crossing at St. Margrethen - continue on the A96 towards Lindau - exit Wangen-Nord - take the B308 towards Oberstaufen. From Oberstaufen follow the signs to Steibis. The Birkenhof is located approx. 4 km outside Oberstaufen, Am Anger 30.
Alternative route: Via Chur - Landquart - motorway A13 towards Germany - border crossing at Au - continue on the A14 Rheintalautobahn towards Dornbirn - exit Dornbirn Nord - via the B200 through the Bregenzerwald to Hittisau - continue towards Oberstaufen. From there to Steibis.
Coming from Austria, there are two ways to reach the Birkenhof in Steibis:
Quickest route:
Take the A12 motorway towards Bregenz - exit Dornbirn Nord - continue on the B200 through the Bregenzerwald to Hittisau - towards Oberstaufen. In Oberstaufen follow the signs to Steibis. The Birkenhof is located approx. 4 km outside Oberstaufen, Am Anger 30.
Alternative route:
Take the A12 motorway towards Lindau - exit Wangen-Nord - continue on the B308 towards Oberstaufen. From Oberstaufen follow the signs to Steibis.
If you are travelling by train, we recommend Oberstaufen train station as your final stop.
From there you can easily get to the Birkenhof: we will be happy to pick you up and bring you back free of charge. Please let us know your arrival time in good time.
There are plenty of free outdoor car parking spaces: Park your car directly in front of the Birkenhof and arrive in comfort.
Our hotel has a 22 kW charging station with two connections. We charge 0.45 euros per kWh.
