WHY A SCHROTH CURE?
Johann Schroth invented the Oberstaufen natural healing method over 200 years ago. The farmer and carter developed the Schroth Cure named after him in 1817 after he successfully treated his aching knee with cold, wet compresses. It has been scientifically proven for many applications that this special fasting cure stimulates self-healing.
Goodbye energy lows - because your body is thoroughly detoxified, purified and deacidified over a few weeks. A major cleanse, in other words. The fact that you lose weight in the process is a positive side effect. The Schroth Cure also relieves pain - without medication and is ideal for everyone, including people with diabetes.
1. SCHROTH'S DIET
Vegetarian diet with low-fat, low-salt and low-protein foods: calorie-reduced, predominantly alkaline dishes without animal protein. This takes the strain off your metabolism. During the first few days, your body will get used to this and focus on detoxification and purification. Don't worry: the feeling of hunger will almost completely disappear over time!
2. SCHROTH'S PACKING
Daily spa packs that cleanse and purify: Our trained spa packers arrive early in the morning (except Sundays) and wrap you in a cold, moist full-body wrap. This increases blood circulation and removestoxins and waste products. Unusual at first, the wrap becomes a pleasant detoxification process.
3. SCHROTH'S DRINKING REGULATION
Drinking and dry days with plenty of (mineral) water, tea, but also sometimes health-promoting spa wine: you either drink or not drink in rhythmic alternation with the prescribed amount of fluid. During the dry days, a suction is created from the interstitial tissue into the slightly thicker blood. On drinking days, the dissolved substances are then flushed out.
4. REST AND MOVEMENT
Rest and relaxation on dry days, for example with a suitable massage, ensure optimum regeneration. On drinking days, moderate exercise in the natural surroundings of the Birkenhof in Oberstaufen is the order of the day. Hiking, Nordic walking, walking and golfing in the Allgäu or swimming in our natural swimming pond are ideal to stimulate the metabolism.
