WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our 4**** hotel in Oberstaufen has 21 rooms with a total of 38 beds, including 4 single rooms, 12 double rooms and 5 suites.

Unfortunately, cancellations are always unpleasant for everyone involved.

We therefore reserve the right to charge 70% of the room price for cancellations less than 30 days before the start of the holiday if it cannot be rebooked for this period.

In the event of cancellation within 48 hours of arrival, no-show or early departure, we reserve the right to charge 90% of the room price.

We recommend that you take out travel cancellation insurance from Hanse Merkur, which you can find here directly here.

The provisions of the general guest accommodation contract apply.

There are plenty of parking spaces available directly at the hotel.

Our hotel has a 22 kW charging station with two connections. We charge 0.55 euros per kWh.

Internet, WLAN & WIFI free of charge: In all rooms and hotel areas at the Birkenhof in Oberstaufen you have free internet access.

Please remember that we are a non-smoking hotel and in the public areas (restaurant,wellness area) and in our hotel rooms smoking is NOT permitted. Smoking is permitted on the balcony. Please always close the balcony door.

Dogs are very welcome here. Your faithful companion may of course spend their holiday with you at the Natur- und Genießerhotel Birkenhof (only in the double room Weißach, garden flat or single room Staufen). As a small contribution to expenses for the additional cleaning we allow ourselves to charge 19 Euro per day.

Please bring your dog with you: A dog blanket is requested in the room. Please do not forget the appropriate food, which is not included in the price. We thank you in advance for taking good care of the furnishings in your room.

Walking the dog: There are opportunities to walk your dog directly from the hotel.

Everything thought of: There is also a disposal point for small errands.

Places: Dogs are allowed on the panoramic terrace. However, the restaurant, nature spa, buffet and sunbathing area are for guests only.

Your room will be ready for you from 15:00 on the day of arrival. In case of an arrival after 7 pm we would ask you to inform us in advance.

On the day of departure, we ask you to leave the room by 11:00 am. Depending on availability, it is possible to request a late check-out for an additional charge.

We are happy for you to pay your hotel bill in cash or by EC card. If you have a foreign EC card, we reserve the right to charge a fee of 10 euros.

The invoice will be issued on the day of departure. We do not accept credit cards. The commission saved by the credit card companies is intended to benefit our guests in the form of services.

You are also welcome to make an advance bank transfer from home.

Yes, we collect our guests on arrival free of charge and of course bring them back to Oberstaufen railway station on departure.

Our Birkenhof is primarily aimed at guests who are looking for nature, enjoyment and relaxation. We are parents of two children ourselves, but not a typical children's hotel. Please bear this in mind when planning your holiday. Please speak to our reception.

The prices for children generally include bed and breakfast. Our youngest guests have the opportunity to choose their meal from our children's menu a la carte in the evening.

From the age of 11 we offer a children's half board for 15 euros.

Our Birkenhof hotel prices are per person, including value added tax (VAT) and are based on various parameters such as location, size and comfort of our rooms. You can find them under Rooms.

The visitor's tax of the market town of Oberstaufen will be 3.50 euros per adult and 1.75 euros for children (born 2020 - 2009) from 1 December 2025. It will be shown separately on the bill.

Breakfast buffet with freshly prepared egg dishes, tea corner with vitamin bar, dinner with a 4-course menu and a choice of 3 different main courses, one of which is vegetarian. Vegan, lactose-free or gluten-free dishes available on request.

The hotel's own swimming pond is between 20° and 25° warm in the summer months.

We are happy to bring afternoon delicious drinks and homemade cakes directly to the panoramic sunbathing decks at the natural swimming pond.

Our panorama natural pool is open from mid-May to mid-November, depending on the weather.

Our Nature & Spa area is available daily from 12:30 - 19:00.
